Amy Tjasink is a singer/songwriter and multi-talented musician from Cape Town, South Africa, who is 28 years old. Since being a top 7 finalist on The Voice South Africa, she has gone on to release a slew of popular tracks that can still be heard on radio stations around the country.

One of these hit singles, which features Jimmy Nevis, has topped the charts and has been played on South African radio stations over 1000 times since its release in October 2020, as well as being featured on some of the most popular playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer, which has contributed to the 60 000+ streams.

Amy worked as a musical director on a cruise liner in Australia for four years before to joining The Voice SA. She then took the risk of moving to London, where she released her sassy and flirtatious debut independent full album titled “Simplify Me,” which followed her breakthrough EP titled “Average Jane,” which had a country and reggae influence. She was stationed in London and was seen performing at a variety of venues in the British metropolis, including Premier League football games and high-end clubs such as Hugh Hefner’s Famous Playboy Club.
